Labor Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford, announced $1.8 million funding on Friday and confirmed the project was one of 42 initiatives that secured funds in the second round of the program.
The North Park netball precinct is used by the Swifts Football Netball Club and the Stawell Interchurch Netball Association, with Stawell Interchurch Netball Association committee president Amber Mitchell over the moon with the decision.
"We all know they need to be done," she said.
"They are not the best at the minute, there are quite a few cracks that need to be fixed up and the drainage is also an issue.

"Over the years the cracks have gotten worse, as they do, and it is definitely an issue that has needed to be addressed and thankfully they have got the funding.
"It is a just a great drawcard. There will be the new facility, the new clubrooms and the new changerooms and now some new courts to go with it.
"It'll be very beneficial for the whole community not just for the Swifts and interchurch but for everyone, it'll be great."
Member for Western Victoria, Jaala Pulford congratulated the users of the courts on their application.
"Congratulations to the Swifts Football Netball Club and the Stawell Interchurch Netball Association - this boost will make the netball courts more accessible, welcoming and inclusive, so more people can play the sport they love," Ms Pulford said.
The upgrades will construct three reinforced concrete netball courts at North Park, Stawell, with lighting to average 100 lux.
