Stawell Police are seeking information about a fire sparked in Deep Lead last month that involved a dirt bike and a tree.

Emergency services were called for assistance to extinguish a fire on Friday, February 19, at around 7.45pm on the Western Highway, near the Codds Flat intersection.
At the fire site was a destroyed GMX dirt bike and a fallen tree, with emergency services working to put out the small fire.
Stawell Police said witnesses described seeing a Caucasian male in his early 20s, wearing a grey or white shirt standing nearby.

The male is believed to be the person who was riding the bike before the fire and was not wearing a helmet.
Stawell Police said if anyone has any information regarding the fire's circumstances, to call Constable Delvin at the Stawell Police Station on 5358 8222 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
At the time of the incident, Stawell Police described the fire as "non-suspicious" but searched for more information.
Acting Sergeant Shane Pettingill said, "the fire was contained to small area and extinguished", with Stawell Police conducting inquiries concerning the owner of the motorcycle.
