Strong, gusty winds are on the way with the warnings issued for Victoria on Monday night and into Tuesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology expects winds will average 60-70 km/h with peak gusts of around 90-100 km/h possible.
Some areas likely to be impacted include north of Ballarat, Ballarat, Daylesford, Geelong, Melbourne, Frankston and Bacchus Marsh.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Richard Russell encouraged people to take care in the conditions.
"We are looking at northerly winds that are quite fresh across parts of Western and Central Victoria for Monday afternoon," he said.

"Those winds will become quite strong and there is the potential for damaging winds, with gusts of up to 100 km/h through those parts of western Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne.
"The worst times will be during Tuesday morning and into the first half of the afternoon around metropolitan Melbourne.
"The authorities recommend securing loose items, be aware of fallen trees and power lines."
Mr Russell also said the expected conditions will bring only a small amount of much needed rain for the state's north-west.
OTHER NEWS:
"To be honest it is one of the first bigger swell of northerly winds we have seen for some time now and overall it is at the lower end of damaging wind gusts," he said.
"The winds are driven by a cold front that is moving across western Australia as we speak and it is expected to reach Western Victoria early Tuesday morning and continue moving eastwards across the state.
"The dry areas in the north west which could really use a drink, unfortunately we only expect around 5 millimeters."
