The Warriors ran away with a 113-point victory against Nhill, in their long-awaited return to Central Park.
In the first quarter it was a close contest with the Warriors up by just 14 points at the break, but then the Warriors turned it on.
They booted six unanswered goals in the second and third terms, while also holding the Tigers to just one goal for the match.
OTHER NEWS:
Stawell football department co-manager Blair Hart said he was happy with the result and how the Warriors defended during the game.
"We knew that if we defended early we would hopefully break their backs and we defended well the first quarter and we probably didn't get the ball moving as well as we'd have liked," he said.
"But once we defended in our second quarter, we broke it open a bit more.
"We're reasonably happy with it, we're two and zero, which we were hoping we'd be and we'll see how we go next week."
It was a celebration day with Shane Field bagging seven goals in his 200th club game. He was also named one of the Warriors' best, alongside full back Paul Summers and coach Tom Eckel.
