Police were called to reports of a man having a mental health episode in Stawell earlier today.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said "the man was seen driving his vehicle erratically on Seaby Street just before 12.30pm".
"Police used their vehicles to stop the man's vehicle before taking him into custody.
"The man was taken to hospital for assessment.
"There were no injuries to the man or police as a result of the incident."

Stawell Police are on the scene of an incident with two roads closed.
Seaby Street is closed between Smith Street and and Darcy Street with a number of vehicles and officers on the scene.
One Police car is also damaged.
Police have also closed Griffith Street with a black SUV heavily damaged in the area.
Stawell Times-News has contacted Stawell Police for more information on the incident, but they said they were still investigating what had transpired.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to the scene at 12.33pm.
"A number of people were assessed but did not require treatment or transport," they said.
