NORTHERN Grampians Shire police have praise community behaviour across the Easter weekend.
With tourists flocking into the region, Acting Senior Sergeant Eddie Malpas said all events had 'great crowds' in attendance.
"There's been no issues in terms of public order or licensing and we haven't had any traffic crashes," he said.
"It's a bit of a turnaround from 2019 with a number of accidents on the roads on Good Friday."
Acting Senior Sergeant Malpas said the reminder of the 2019 weekend did give some concern leading into the weekend.
"We've been very fortunate and a large number of people doing the right thing," he said.
"There has been a large number of family-orientated crowds, particularly at the races and haven't had that element of trouble we have had in recent years.
"The benefit is not spending time dealing with those issues it allows us to be more proactive and getting out there and talking to people.
"That's been really good to get out and chat to people and improve that relationship between the community and ourselves."
