Active April encourages Victorians to participate in 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April to help build healthy exercise habits.
Grampians Community Health, health promotion officer, Ada Castle said her organisation are working with lots of different community groups in the region to help organise free exercise activities for all ages in April.
"Active April is an initiative that has happened for quite a few years now, and I know Grampians Community Health has been involved for four years," she said.
"It is an initiative set by the Victorian Government that aims to get people moving and active.

"Ideally that is 30 minutes a day of moderate exercise, but the line we are trying to get across, is that some exercise is better than none."
Ms Castle said after the challenges of 2020 it was important for residents to get moving again to help improve their health.
"The effects of COVID-19 really did impact our inactivity and this is a great way to get active again, and also to help us feel a bit better and get moving with family and friends again.
"The biggest one is feeling better all round and creating more energy.

"It is also about creating less risk of health issues and chronic pain. For example, the Australian Government has also said inactivity is the second biggest contributor behind smoking to cancer, so being physically inactive is a massive unknown cancer risk
"Getting active and getting moving helps you to maintain your overall physical and mental wellbeing, so moving more and sitting less is the message."
Ms Castle said Grampians Community Health would release a community calendar of activities for the month. and spreading message of activities.
The Victorian Government also has established a Get Active Kids Voucher Program, worth up to $200 (applications close April 11).
