A small business specialist, Louise Dillon reported good take up of the private appointments also available on both days.
Ms Dillon noted that a small business financial counsellor can help provide various types of options for small businesses that may be facing and or in financial hardship.
"It's a chance for business owners to discover the benefits of working with a local business support who is based in the local area and understands local conditions and communities," she said.

"We provide confidential, free and independent support that can help the small business owner get a really good understanding of their financial situation during challenging times. We help to identify and explore the different options available and can provide support and advocacy in discussions with creditors or applications for loans, grants or support packages.
"We can help you develop a cash flow budget and plan for the future.
"As you can imagine, this support is often ongoing over a period of months or even years so it's important to know that working with a financial counsellor is always free of charge.
"Partnering with the Northern Grampians Shire Council for events like this one helps us to get the word out to local businesses that we are here to support you."
Northern Grampians Shire Council Mayor, Murray Emerson, said Council was pleased to host the professional financial counselling sessions made available this week and to partner with the Rural Financial Counselling Service to introduce this service to the St Arnaud and district business community.
"The timing of this counselling support for our businesses is especially important and Council encourages businesses to take advantage of the service offerings to explore options available for the future."
