EmbroidAbility is a Pinnacle enterprise that provides supported employment for people with a disability.
Its work varies from making uniforms for different companies to making giftware and personalised items such as cups, stubby holders, jigsaw puzzles, and cushions.
However, a recent change to sector funding meant Pinnacle - a not-for-profit organisation - had to review the business.

Pinnacle chief executive officer Kathryn Clayton said all other options had been exhausted before Pinnacle decided EmbroidAbility would need to be closed.
"This decision has not been made lightly," she said.
"We have had management and externally funded consultants review the business model and try to make any options work."
EmbroidAbility presently employs 11 staff, including nine supported employees.
Ms Clayton said they are all exceptionally devoted to their work.
"Our staff's skills, dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the business, our agency, and the local communities is so admirable," she said.
"This is sure to have an impact on more than just those directly involved and it's a very emotional time for many of us."
Fosters Mensland has been partnered with EmbroidAbility since the latter's inception in 2006.
Fosters will now ensure embroidery services continue to be available to the community in EmbroidAbility's absence.
Ms Clayton said she was grateful for the business's continued assistance.
"Fosters have been very supportive of the partnership over the many years and an integral part of our business," she said.
"They have also been very respectful ensuring that the expertise of the staff is heard to provide the information and assistance required for the services to continue seamlessly during the transitional period."
Fosters Mensland owner Graeme Foster was similarly appreciative of EmbroidAbility's contributions.
"On both a business and personal level, Fosters has valued our long-standing relationship with EmbroidAbility," he said.
"This has resulted in many positive outcomes for staff, supported employees, along with the team at Fosters Mensland.
"Thanks to all involved in helping make this initiative a rewarding experience that has provided us with friendships well into the future."
