MONAGHAN'S Real Estate has listed its second property over a million dollars in a month.
85 Main Street went on the market in November at a price of $1.375m.
It is a landmark building that combines heritage architecture with contemporary comfort.
Built in 1907, the Langsford is located in the centre of Stawell on the corner of Main and Wimmera Streets.
There have been various owners and tenants over the ensuing years and in 2014 it was sold to the current owner.
A full and comprehensive restoration was started, bringing the imposing, historical and significant landmark back to life.
Listing agent, Terry Monaghan, of Monaghan's Real Estate, said the owner hasn't left a stone unturned in the restoration.
"It's been a massive job to restore the building into something magnificent," he said.
"It certainly surprised me with what the owner was able to achieve.
"Despite some really specialist projects, local tradespeople were used in the restoration."
The property's awning verandah which was believed to have been removed in the 1930s was recreated precisely as it was in 1907.
There is a commercial tenancy on the ground floor of the property and a grand two-bedroom apartment on the upper floor.
There is also a luxurious one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor known as the Garden Suite.
Both of the apartments are spacious and air-conditioned - have modern bathrooms and compact kitchens. Another apartment at the rear of the upper floor that overlooks the garden.
"The skills of local tradesmen are on show," Mr Monaghan said.
"They've done a wonderful job at this property."
Mr Monaghan said it was coincidental two properties over one million dollars had come onto the market in such a short space of time.
A heritage-listed property at 10-12 Seaby Street was listed in November.
"If people didn't have confidence in the market they wouldn't pick now to put them on," he said.
"Obviously people feel confident in the market."
Mr Monaghan said the property on Main Street would appeal to a different set of buyers.
"This property is not only a home, but it's also an income-producing business," he said.
"It attracts a wide variety of buyers."
