Scrumlicious owner and baker Nancy Gibson won bronze medals for her mexican fiesta and workers breakfast pie at the 2019 Baking Association of Australia awards at the end of June.
Mrs Gibson had to hit the road shortly after riding the high of her fourth and fifth medal wins due to a "labelling hiccup".
"I had to make a few slight adjustments to some pies so I went from Stawell to Ballarat to Torquay to Cobden to Timboon, Port Fairy, Portland Hamilton and home again in two days to make changes to pie labels I have across the region," she said.
"It was virtually like driving to Adelaide one day and driving back the next."
Mrs Gibson specialises in gluten free pies, something she takes great pride in.
"When I started the business I wanted to prove gluten free food could taste just as good as other food and I think I have done that," she said.
"I often enter into competitions and don't tell them they are gluten free to prove a point. I love what I do."
Mrs Gibson said her "unique" business name has ties to her family.
"My grandmother gave me that name. In 1956 we had 14 family members at table one night and she said doesn't this food look delumptious scrumlicious," Mrs Gibson said.
"It has been the family thing since and I thought, why not take part of it for the name of my business."
