The versatile netballer has integrated into the Baggies A Grade side in the 2019 season and in more recent weeks found herself playing in a defensive role.
In her 14th year of netball, Morris has found an invigorated love for the sport since moving clubs.
"I didn't think I would ever make the move from the Warriors - I played there since I was junior but I felt like it was time for a change," she said.
"One of my best friends plays at the Swifts so it is good to come over and play with her again.
"There are a number of differences between the leagues - but I think the standard is very similar across the competition."
With the ability to play at both ends of the court, Morris said in 2018 she played at the attacking end of the court but has taken a more defensive role this season.
"I get swung from defence to attack," she said. "I've learnt it is part of my game now. Last season was probably my most settled season I have had - but for the five to six seasons before I have been used at either end of the court.
"When I played juniors I played most of my netball as a wing attack or in the centre because I was little. As I've gotten older it's now become all seven positions.
"I've learnt to jump a bit higher but if I had a little bit more height on me, it would be very handy."
Morris said she didn't mind changing positions from week to week or even mid game.
"I just love to be on the court and playing," she said.
"I don't mind what position I am in, I just want to be out there."
Moving into a new club can be a daunting task, but Morris said she has felt like she has settled in well.
"I'm not the only new one into the side which I think makes it easier," she said.
"It's about listening to where they want me for drills and how they want me to play.
"It's a different type of game - but I think that's A Grade and also the different leagues. Despite it being different, I'm loving it."
It hasn't been a faultless start to the season for Morris, with an ankle injury in round three, sidelining her for a few weeks.
"It was so disappointing - I was trying to get my fitness at the highest level for my new club and then I went and injured myself," she said.
"I landed on a foot at training and it kissed the concrete - it wasn't too bad, just a fat swollen ankle.
"Coming back in I had two half games and two full games and it is feeling heaps better.
"I will just strap it as a precautionary for the rest of the season."
With a career spanning more than a decade, Morris said she can see the development within the Swifts team.
"We had a couple away and injuries so it was some weeks before we had a full team together," she said.
"That in itself was hard. Even though we have had some losses so far this season, we can definitely see the improvement is there."
