The teams have turned the occasion into a great tradition, playing for the Djab Wurrung and Jarwadjali Marngrook shield.
The Baggies currently hold the shield, having beaten the Lakers in the corresponding match last season.
Once again, the best player in the senior football and A Grade Netball contest will be presented with the Tim Chatfield medal.
“I think we have started something pretty special for both clubs so it is great to see it back for another year,” Swifts senior football coach Scott Carey said.
“I am looking forward to what should be a great day and match.”
Both sides will once again wear specially designed Indigenous guernseys.
Swifts will wear a playing top with a different design to last year, with Tanisha Lovett the artist of this year’s guernsey.
