Leading the charge is the Counting Crows, The Doobie Brothers, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, St Paul and the Broken Bones, and Vintage Trouble.
The first 41 acts of the hugely popular music festival were announced in August and included English new-wave legend Elvis Costello & The Imposters and US blues icons Buddy Guy and Bonnie Riatt.
The Doobie Brothers are midway through their 50th anniversary world tour, with singer/songwriter Michael McDonald re-joining the band since they last played Bluesfest in 2017.
Bluesfest 2023 will be the first time Canadian singer/songwriter Allison Russell has joined the festival line-up.
Grammy and Academy Award-nominated American rock band Counting Crows have sold more than 20 million albums during their 30-year career.

The 34th Bluesfest will be the first festival since 2019 not to face restrictions on attendance and international artists.
Bluesfest returned last Easter after a two-year COVID-enforced break, but it featured a predominantly Australian line-up.
