Police detected what is alleged to be a white Triton Ute, or similar, travelling north at an alleged speed of 160km/h on the Sunraysia Highway, Carapooee, at about 10.30pm on Saturday November 27.
Police are seeking any witnesses that were travelling along the Sunraysia Highway between Avoca and St Arnaud at that time that have seen the vehicle or have dashcam footage.
