On Tuesday morning the Stawell Little Athletics group notified members that a COVID positive case attended Little Athletics on Thursday, November 11.

In their message to members, Stawell Little Athletics said there will not be any competition on Thursday November 18, with a deep clean to be completed before a return to competition next Thursday, November 25.
Advice from health officials said that only those individuals who have been identified and contacted directly as potential primary close contacts are required to isolate and be tested.
Everyone else is to continue to follow health guidelines which is to be tested if showing symptoms.
Testing is being conducted from 9am to 4pm at the Stawell Leisure Complex as Stawell Regional Health expands their testing capacity.
On Monday evening the Stawell Secondary College announced to parents it will close on Tuesday, November 16 due to a COVID-19 exposure at the school.

The school was advised that a confirmed COVID-19 case attended the school during the week from November 8-12.
On the state government website the detection of COVID in Stawell's wastewater between November 11 and November 3 has been reclassified as expected after a case of COVID was listed in the 3381 postcode on Monday.
