NORTHERN Grampians Shire Council councillors have agreed - staff will be busy after the new 2021-22 action plan be implemented.
The motion was passed the the Council's action plan in the September meeting, on Monday.
At the 28 June 2021 Council Meeting, Council adopted the Council Plan 2021-25, providing the framework of the objectives to be undertaken over the next four years.
In order to achieve the goals set out in the Council Plan, a Council Action Plan 2021-22 has been developed to outline the actions that will be initiated or completed by Council in the first year.
Cr Kevin Erwin moved the motion for adoption and Cr Lauren Dempsey seconded the motion.
Cr Erwin said the plan was extensive and and outlook on what Council wanted to achieve in the foreseeable future.
"It is a road map for our future," he said.
"It's an exciting on - there is plenty on it. I think if we can achieve this, especially in our first year, we will be doing a very good job."
Cr Dempsey said the plan narrowed down the overarching plan, which was then broken down into how it will be achieved quarterly.
"It's great there is a plan in place for how staff will be delivering these items and what they will be delivering moving forward," she said.
"There are timelines that we, and the CEO, can hold staff accountable to to achieve them (the outcomes) by as well."
