Four new branch and service locations in the Victorian Wimmera and Tasmania have been added to the AWN network in an expansion of its livestock and property business.
The additions come as AWN chief operating officer Rick Maybury said AWN was a growth focused business and was looking to continue to expand its livestock, property and wool business to support more clients across rural Australia.
In Victoria's Wimmera district, the existing AWN wool site at Horsham has been expanded to include livestock and property services
A new AWN branch has been established in Stawell, and livestock services will also operate out of Edenhope.
The Horsham Regional Livestock Exchange will be the primary yard for AWN sales in the Wimmera district, with special spring sales to be conducted in Edenhope.
AWN now also offers livestock services across Tasmania with the addition of a "team of experienced stockmen to the business", who will work alongside the AWN wool specialists in supporting clients.
Mr Maybury said the latest expansion of livestock and property services was the perfect complement to AWN's existing wool business in these areas.
AWN's livestock division was supporting the marketing of sheep, cattle and goats.
"AWN is extremely pleased to now be offering dedicated livestock and property services to clients across Tasmania and the Wimmera district of Victoria," he said.
"We have a strong track record of delivering innovative marketing solutions and great results for our wool clients in these areas and we are looking forward to being able to offer the same level of service to our clients through our livestock and property agency.
"We have a number of experienced and client-focused livestock team members who have already joined us at our new sites, with more to follow in the coming weeks as they are released from their employment restraints."
This is the latest in a series of expansion activities for the rapidly growing Australian business, which in the last twelve months has acquired businesses in Shepparton and in Parkes, NSW, as well as established greenfield sites in Wangaratta and numerous locations across Western Australia.
