The passenger of a car has been arrested, charged and bailed after Stawell Police allegedly located the illicit substance 'ice' in a vehicle during a drug stop.

Members of the Stawell Police night shift team stopped a vehicle on Ararat Rd, Stawell, on Friday July 2 at around 3.30am
Stawell Police sergeant Eddie Malpas said the station's night shift members made the arrest after locating 'ice' in the vehicle.

"A search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in members locating methamphetamine, otherwise known as 'ice'," he said.
"A 33-year-old passenger was arrested, charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.
"This is excellent work by our members and demonstrates to the community that we are out at all hours of the night and day, intercepting and processing drug offenders."
