COVID-19 Financial Support and Hardship Policy provides Council with a framework to support individuals and businesses who require financial assistance from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The policy aims to provide individuals and businesses with an understanding of the options and assistance available if experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic.

The policy applies to monies owed to Northern Grampians Shire Council including the waiver of penalty interest from rates and charges, Health Act registration fees, Food Act registration fees and property lease payments due from community and sporting clubs.
At its June meeting, Cr Tony Driscoll moved the motion to extend the policy for a further 12 months.
"COVID-19 isn't over. It can impact us at any time and it is still impacting a lot of people and businesses," he said.
"Council have decided we should extend this level of assistance to our ratepayers for another 12 months."
