Construction of the toilets and pathways is now complete after the old site was demolished in May.
The old brick toilets have been demolished and removed from the site, with the new facilities now open for public use.

The construction of the new toilets was comes after the council completed their Northern Grampians Stawell Parks Precinct Plan in 2019.
In this plan an upgrade public toilet blocks was identified as a priority with the goal of providing users contemporary, family friendly, accessible facilities.
Better facilities for parents was also identified as a need, with the new site providing a change table for adults and complying with child safety standards.
The new facility has been designed to make cleaning easier, increased ventilation and increased brightness, as well as having a DDA compliant toilet with a baby change facility.
