Upon reviewing the footage of the tackle from Cree, he appears to sling the Nhill opponent to the ground in a manner which could be perceived as dangerous.
After the incident Cree was awarded a free kick.
AFL Wimmera-Mallee manager Jason Muldoon spoke to the Wimmera Mail-Times about the incident and said it had been classified as "unbecoming conduct".
"He was reported via an investigation for unbecoming conduct," Muldoon said.

"(The penalty is) four weeks with two suspended until the end of this year."
Muldoon said it is because of another unrelated investigation and COVID-19 concerns that it has taken this long for the incident to be heard at the tribunal.
According to Muldoon, there was no action taken on the day for the conduct.
"There was an investigation called into the incident and that's what's resulted," he said.
"The Nhill and District Sporting Club through the league asked for an investigation."
Dimboola president Justin Ward confirmed to The Mail-Times that they would not be appealing the decision.
"We've got full support for the judicial system and it is what it is," Ward said.
"It's a disappointing outcome for the club; however, the judicial system is what it is, and we've got full support for that.
"We look forward to him returning in two matches."
Ward confirmed that Cree was optimistic about returning to playing after the two weeks.
"He's keen and more eager now than what he's ever been," Ward said.
"His thirst for football is stronger than it's ever been now."
