The challenge was to "Dance for Sick Kids", which was taking a 7-day challenge of dancing.
District Dance Studio raised over $8600 for the McDonald House.
The cause hits close for the studio's director, Linda Grigg whose son had required critical care in the past.
"I'm very grateful to the Royal Children Hospital Charities who assisted my family during many years of our son's critical care and treatment," she said.

"The Ronald McDonald House was such a warm and inviting, home-away-from-home where we could focus on what is really important, the health of our son."
Over 60,000 families with a sick children rely on the Ronald McDonald House Charities to provide a roof over their heads whilst their child receives life changing treatment and care.
It was a last minute decision for the studio and its dancers to join in on the challenge.
"Our studio was registered for the fundraiser but hadn't taken up the cause until I saw our DanceStep student teacher Charlotte Wilton had individually registered and was passionately raising much needed funds to this worthy cause," Ms Grigg said.
"Within 30 days we had a team of 13 dancers aged from just three years old to adult from Stawell, Charlton and St Arnaud. Our team raised an incredible $8638 which is enough for a family to stay for 53 nights at a Ronald McDonald House."
District Dance Studio also came in 15th on the Australian Dance Crew leader board out of more than 5000 dancers.
"Not bad for a small studio in country Victoria," Ms Grigg said.
Fundraising isn't a new aspect for the dance studio, with one teacher, Sarah Grigg, taking part in "Shave for a Cure."
"On behalf of our dancers and teachers, we just want to take a moment to thank everyone who donated, shared our posts, or supported us in any other way over the week-long event. You helped us make a big difference doing what we do best, dancing," Ms Grigg said.
