Thirteen junior basketballers represented Stawell Wildcats at the Horsham Basketball tournament, in the Under 12 and Under 14 divisions, on Sunday.

Both teams thoroughly enjoyed getting back on the court and proved to be tough opposition.
Representing Under 12 were Charlie, Tom, Rrez, Archie, Jack and Levi. While Hunter, Jack C, Will, Jack S, Jed, Jack K and Arlo represented Under 14.
The Under 12s, coached by Andrew Dunn, convincingly won both of their games. The boys worked as a team, and consistently shared the play, with many goals scored by all team members.
The Under 14s, coached by Jarred Ohayon, took glory in one game, narrowly going down in the other two. The boys fought hard and put their skills on show with many goals, rebounds and intercepts taking place.

All players left the stadium, tired, but with huge smiles on their faces, keen to continue their basketball journey.
