Fire crews are returning to station after a scrub fire was put out in the Black Range on Monday.
The Stawell Times-News understands that it was a burn off that had escaped which caused a small scrub fire about 80m x 50m in size.

EARLIER, 3.30pm:
COUNTRY Fire Authority crews are responding to a grass fire on Bullocky Mary Road, Black Range, south of Stawell on Monday afternoon.
It's the second call for assistance for the crews in the region as they battled a grass fire that is not yet under control is burning along Pomonal Road, near Lake Fyans.
The Stawell Times-News understands the grass fire at Bullocky Mary Road was not spreading.
There are three vehicles at the scene.
