A Grade coach Rebecca Skrabl said she was pleased with how the club progressed ahead of the season.
"It's shaping up really well," she said.
"We've got a lot of our junior netballers coming through the ranks, like young girls who have been playing at the club for over a decade and come up through 13s, 15s, and 17s.

"In A and B grade they're mainly girls who have played here for a number of years, and probably about 80 or 90 per cent of them have come up through juniors."
Ararat's depth in talent was evident in 2019 when they finished in the top three spots on the ladder in the A Grade, B Grade, C Grade, and Under 17.
Skrabl said this has partially stemmed from the club's efforts to build from its foundations.
"We've been really lucky that we've had Donna Spalding doing a lot with the juniors the last couple of years, and you can see the girls coming through now have the skills above where you'd expect them to be at this stage."
OTHER NEWS:
Skrabl said she anticipates the A Grade team being tactically flexible.
"I'm looking to give us a bit of adaptability. We've got a couple of players that can play either end as well as mid court, so a lot of the girls are quite versatile, which frees you up a lot," she said.
"We've also got some really talented shooters with Delaney McLoughlan and Tayla Borrelli."
In the 2019 Wimmera Netball Association, Ararat's A Grade team finished third on the ladder before losing to eventual champions Minyip Murtoa in the qualifying final.
