A truck driver has escaped with minor injuries after his rig rolled over in Crowlands at 10am on Tuesday, January 5.

The B - double was travelling along Ararat-St Arnaud Road, about one kilometre from the intersection of Crowlands and Eversley roads when it overturned.

The driver, in his late 60s, was taken to hospital for observation.
The truck was carrying 120 cattle at the time of the incident.
Twenty cattle had to be euthanised at the scene due to their injuries.
