Over 70 households were helped through the appeal - households were made up of 116 adults and 141 children.
The Cottage provides emergency relief assistance to those in need in Stawell and region.
The aim is to help with immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis whilst maintaining the dignity of those who seek our help.
They provide food aid and a limited number of coupons for the supermarket, chemist, fuel, VLine, second hand clothing, overnight accommodation and meals.

They also refer and make appointments for those we help to access local community support services.
Volunteers have been helping those in need in Stawell and district since 1970.
The Cottage is located at 20 Sloane Street, Stawell Vic 3380
Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
