Stawell Police are investigating the theft of a trailer loaded with fencing equipment on Friday.

Senior Constable Brad Bond said it occurred at a property on Old Glenorchy Road, Deep Lead, between 10.30am and 3.20pm on Friday, October 9.
"Someone has cut a padlock on the box securing the trailer and used vehicle to take the trailer, possibly a four wheel drive," he said.
"The trailer had about $35,000 worth of fencing equipment on it at the time.
"The registration on the trailer is X73 299. If anyone knows anything about this incident they can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Stawell Police on 5358 8222."
