A Stawell property was searched on Friday after Victoria Police executed a search warrant.
The property, on Gilchrist Road, Stawell was found to be the location of a "sophisticated hydroponic cannabis setup".
Detective Senior Constable Mal Wineberg said it appeared the property was in the early stages of setting up the operation.
"A large amount of cannabis plants were seized," he said.
"We believe we disrupted their operation before any plants had reached maturity.
