Roblox, the popular multiplayer online video game, has launched an Easter egg hunt just in time for the Easter weekend.

The game, which allows users to design their own games and virtual worlds is hugely popular with children.
The game now has 49 eggs scattered across the platform and gamers have until April 28 to find them all.
The Roblox website describes the 'mission' to gather all 49 eggs from 49 different games to unlock 'an exclusive hat for your avatar'.
It adds: "The Eggverse is depending on you. Good luck, Agents!"
All players have been allocated an 'Eggphone' to help keep track of the eggs and to provide them with in-game information.
The website also provides some clues on where to find the first eggs.

Eggs that can be found include Adopt Me, Chick; Britannegg; Cheggered Flag; Despacitegg; Doc-Holidegg; Eggmunition; Eggraging Shark and Epic Egg.
