The retirement home has announced it's vision, one which will drive an agenda for the next four years.
Board of directors chair Julie Dunn presented the new strategic plan and proposed capital works concepts to residents, staff, volunteers, and members of the community who attended the launch.
"We have undertaken a process of consultation with all stakeholders to seek views on what we should be working towards as an organization and what we need to do in order to achieve our vision," she said.
"Staff, residents and their family members have completed surveys, and feedback on the issues has been sought at resident's meetings.
"This resulted in an updated mission statement and three strategies which will be worked on over the four year period 2019 to 2023."
The Eventide board of directors have commissioned architect Darragh O'Brien from DOBA to develop a master plan for future development which will cater for the future needs of potential residents.
During her presentation, Mrs Dunn questioned herself, "have we got the strategic direction right?".
"We hope so," she said.
"If we are half as successful as the Stawell Community were 60 years ago when Eventide was created, then we will do fine."
Eventide Homes will have the plans and information available on their website in the near future.
