Greg Reading was the best for Golf with a 9 shot win and Andrew Sharp was the best for Stawell with a 12 shot win.
The win has given Golf a bit of breathing room in third position on the ladder.
Ararat, at home, provided the upset of the round with a great win over Lake Bolac. P Murray had a good win for Bolac up by 13 shots but it was Richard Fisher claiming a massive win over the Park boys' rink.
A 25 shot win gave Ararat a much-needed win but the loss for Bolac is costly, as it now must probably win all three remaining games to make the finals.
Ararat VRI is really getting into the groove at its home ground and scored another great win over the visiting Aradale. Clayton Holcombe and Shane Briggs both had big wins for VRI and Gary Jamison got some points for Aradale.
The win has moved VRI to the top of the ladder and the loss for Aradale has just about shut the door on them playing finals this year.
In the last game, Landsborough played Chally on the Landsborough green and managed to win a rink with Bobbo Hodgetts up by 8 shots. Chally managed to get the win and the points with Jessie Austin and Richard Harricks both having big wins.
The win has given Chally a nice little 11 point break over the fifth-placed Lake Bolac who it will play next week.
DIVISION 2

Fifth-placed Stawell Golf Blue was at home to the second-placed Stawell Blue.
In a must-win for Golf, they came up 9 shots short. Terry Griffin was the big winner of the day with a 13 shot win. Stawell Blue hold onto second position on the ladder, while Golf Blue is now 14 points out of the top four.
Lake Bolac Black had its best win for the season with the highest tally for the year recorded - 130 shots to 45 providing an 85 shot win. Barry Veale was the best winner up by 40 shots on his rink.
The win has kept Black's chances of sneaking into the top two positions on the ladder well and truly alive.
The two Ararat sides went head to head at home and with three close matches, the green side got the points for the day.
The win for Green has given it a slight chance of grabbing a finals position but it would need to win its last three matches.
in the last match, fourth-placed Stawell Golf Gold recorded a good win over Aradale by 27 shots. Peter Greenberger was the best winner for the day with an 18 shot win for Golf.
The win has given the Golf side a nice little break on fifth place on the ladder.
