Logan received an endeavour and sportsmanship award from Racing Minister Corey Wingard at the ceremony last month.
Around the same time, Mr Wingard announced millions of dollars worth of funding for racing clubs around the state, including $505,000 for a sand training track to be built in Murray Bridge.
TRSA chair Frances Nelson welcomed the state government's investment in infrastructure, saying it was crucial to the vitality and viability of the industry.
"We are delighted to have this first stage of projects approved by the minister and will be working closely with the clubs as the projects progress," she said.
