Williamson said it was not yet clear whether or not she would be taking up a leadership role with the side.
"No coaching positions have been announced at this stage so it's hard to say what role I will hold next year," she said.
"I'm a mid-court player so (I'll play) either centre or wing attack."
No matter what role she takes on, Williamson has some very clear goals for the 2020 season.
"I really hope to go deep into the finals next year," she said.
"This year we were able to match it with the top teams so hopefully we can go even further in 2020."
Wiliiamson said no matter the challenges ahead in the 2020 season, re-signing with the club was never in question for her.
"I always planned on staying at the Rats," she said.
"It is such a great club, lots of great people to play with, amazing volunteers and we play in the strongest league in the Wimmera.
"It's such a high standard of netball."
The club is right in the middle of its recruitment drive for next season and has also announced the re-signing of B grade player Abby Driscoll, as well as Lucy Mills, who missed much of the 2019 season due to a ruptured ACL.
The club has also re-signed 2019 C grade Runner Up Best and Fairest winner Meaghan Armstrong. Armstrong also played in both A and B grade throughout the season.
