Horsham Saint's Olivia Brilliant was selected in the under-15 V/Line Cup squad announced last week.
Stawell's Jesse Bligh along with Horsham Demons Hailey Puls and Holly Nuske were picked in the under-16 academy squad. Former Horsham Saint Ella Friend was also selected.
The under-16 girls will compete in a next generation academy carnival day in late September, competing against up to eight other academies with more details yet to be confirmed.
The under-15 team will compete alongside two under-15 boys sides at the V/Line Cup at Shepparton between September 22 and 25.
All squads trained for four weeks in their respective regions before coming together to play two region against region trial games at Ararat's Alexandra Oval over the school holidays.
From these games, the academy coaches and selection committee were able to select two 24-girl squads.
"Our 16s NGA Squad is packed full of girls that were part of last year's V/Line squad and have now graduated to the next level into the NGA program," Greater Western Victoria Rebels coach Rhys Cahir said.
"A number of those girls were also part of the GWV Rebels futures and U18 program which makes the NGA squad an experienced and talented group."
"Each year the next wave of talent coming through is better than the last, largely attributed to the growth of competitions, the resources available and the experience of the coaches wanting to be involved in female football."
