Coming off the back of a huge win against Laharum last weekend and playing in front of a home crowd, the Tigers could have been dangerous for Swifts.
The Baggies set aside any doubts which way the match would turn early on however, booting five unanswered goals in the opening quarter to lead 32-0.
"There we a nice strong breeze favouring the end we had in the first quarter and we took our opportunities," Swifts coach Scott Carey said.
"We started well and ticked all the boxes we wanted to."
The Tigers were able to work their way back into the game with the breeze behind them in the second term, cutting the deficit to 25 points.
Carey said that term served as a wake up call.
"We probably didn't listen to instructions well and to Pimpinio's credit their pressure picked up," he said.
"We were a bit wayward and struggled to generate too many forward 50 entries."
It was smooth sailing after the main break for the visitors though, booting 10 goals to two for the remainder of the game to run out 16.7 (103) to 4.3 (27) winners.
"The pleasing thing was we adjusted after half-time," Carey said.
"We didn't make those same mistakes for rest of the game.
"The game was probably sealed at three-quarter-time, but to the credit of the guys they kept working on what we said we would when it would have been easy to pack it in for the day.
"I think kicking four goals against the wind to finish the game shows how we were able to run the game out well."
Zach Salmi booted five goals for the Baggies, while Carey was full of praise for midfielder Ryan Folkes who also slotted three of his own.
"Ryan went like a house on fire, he gave us a lot of run and I thought it was one of his better games for the year," he said.
"Jakeb Brown played his first game in the seniors, coming up from the reserves, and he didn't miss a beat. He was instrumental in the midfield to get us that lead early on."
Carey said there may be several players who pull up sore from the match but they should have a strong team available to take on Taylors Lake at home next weekend.
The Baggies remain one win behind Edenhope-Apsley and Natimuk United in second and third, but are two wins clear of three sides fighting for two finals places.
