The Warriors come out firing and didn't look like missing in the first quarter, with every ball heading towards the goals finding the middle of the two sticks.
Nhill had opportunities early, finding plenty of the football, but once again Stawell's defensive structure proved too strong to break through.
Warriors coach Damian Joiner said he took a lot out of the round nine match.
"It was great to get the win. Everytime we go up against Nhill it's always a slug out with them so it was good to walk away with the points," he said.
"We did come away with a big win, but we also didn't play no where near our best football."
Stawell's forward Cody Driscoll was on fire - booting six goals for the game which puts him firmly in the leader position on the Wimmera Football League's goal kicking tally.
Tigers' Scott Hughes, level with Driscoll before the weekend's game, only managed two goals up against the Warriors defensive pressure.
"I'm really happy with the way Cody is tracking along," Joiner said.
"He's still building his game after coming back from injury. He looks dangerous every time the ball goes into the forward 50 and he just seems to get his hands on it."
Joiner also praised the efforts of his team's backline once again.
"All the players in the back line have been solid all year," he said.
"They do their job, week in week out and I couldn't talk any higher of our players in the backline.
"The run and carry from our half-backs really sets up a lot of plays for us moving forward."
Joiner said it was a relief to see the teams first quarter of football turned around from previous weeks.
"Most games we've had seven to 10 scoring shots but weren't able to convert," he said.
"We really applied the scoreboard pressure as we were rewarded with some straight kicking.

"At the same time I think we cannot become complacent as I feel we dropped off a little in the second and third quarter."
Only equalling the Tiger's scoring shots in the second, Joiner said he would continue to "drum four quarter efforts in".
"That is what's going to make a difference against the number one and two sides," he said.
"In some ways, I can see what we can produce if we were all switched on for the whole game. I like what I know we are capable of it's just about getting there.
"It's something you can't really train for - I can say it time and time again but it's just something the boys really need to mentally focus on."
