The girls came away with a 26 point win over Portland Tigers at Central Park, Stawell.
In the round five clash of the Deakin University Female Football League, the Warriors lent players across to the visiting team to even up the numbers and make a game of the contest on the day.
The Tigers were yet to score at three-quarter time - Warriors' ruck player Crystal Summers moved over to the visiting team for the fourth quarter.
Sitting down at full forward, Summers booted three goals for the opposition and made the Warriors back-line work hard to stop the 2018 league best and fairest winner.
Coach, Rod Summers said he hoped they would use Summers in the ruck so the developing Warriors ruck players could play against her.
"We move players over when other teams are short for the spirit of the game," he said.
"There's a lot of teams that are a few short and we were short last year. It's good having the option to lend the players across. We would rather have girls out there playing, even if it is for the other team than sitting on the bench."
Summers said the girls are improving every week.
"We have a really big emphasis on teamwork and everyone improving," he said.
"We're not really focused on winning or losing - rather the motto of if you play as a team the scoreboard will take care of itself."
Stawell Warriors have picked up players this season, due to Ararat Storm not entering into the AFL Goldfields Female Football League.
"I think the girls have fitted in really well and have been accepted really well," Summers said.
"The coaches and helpers pride ourselves on just having one group. We don't have captains or leaders - everyone just fits in like everyone else and treated the same.
"They're all out there to have fun and if we get a win, it's a bonus."
Summers encouraged the community to support the up and coming players in their last home game of the season.
"We will be playing in Stawell next Sunday and it's a great opportunity for people to come down and cheer the girls on," he said.
"We had some supporters down here today (Sunday) and it was great to see."
