And according to weather experts, the dust storms the state has been experiencing is far from over due to the dry conditions.
Again this week, another dust storm rolled in. This time the dust was raised across the Riverina and southwest slopes driven by a strong westerly wind from Monday afternoon.
By 5.30pm it had reached its peak over Wagga Wagga reducing visibility to about one kilometre and giving an eerie light over the city. A few drops of rain followed and there were reports of lightning strikes and wild wind north of Wagga Wagga.
To get a clearer picture of the current situation we put a call out asking you, the readers, to show us how dusty it is in your neck of the woods.
We’ve got photos back from all across the state including the Burren Junction, Tullibigeal, Packsaddle, Dubbo, Young and even Sydney.
