Dr Christian Ezobi will work at Stawell Medical Centre as a permanent doctor, while Drs Hussein Rabia and Wen Jiang come to the town as registrars for the next 12 months.
“We are very pleased to have three new medical staff – this is a great experience for Wen in particular because it is her first GP placement,” Stawell Medical Centre practice manager Kim Hinkley said.
“Chris and Hussein are very experienced doctors and we are really pleased to have them work with us.
“Chris and his family relocated from Queensland where he worked at Queensland Health in a number of departments including the Emergency Department.
“Hussein has had several GP placements, mostly in big Melbourne hospitals with a background in emergency medicine.”
All three have expressed their excitement about their new roles and working in Stawell.
