Cross and her A Grade side will take on Horsham in the final round of the season at Central Park on Saturday.
Cross has had a decorated career for Stawell, playing in two junior premierships to go with two junior best and fairest awards. She was the 15-and-under association best and fairest runner-up in 2002.
She has taken her success in juniors to the top level in the Wimmera Netball Association, playing the majority of her career in A Grade.
As well as contributing well on the court, Cross has also given back to the club’s up and coming players, co-coaching 17-and-under sides in 2012 and 2013.
Veteran Stawell netballer Tracey Dark has coached Cross as a junior as well as coached along side her. She said Cross’ attitude throughout her career has been one to admire.
“She is just always so positive both on and off the court,” she said.
“She is a fantastic leader and the sort of person you want to run around with.
“Her worth is immeasurable when she is playing and teaching valuable lessons to young players.”
Dark said Cross was a great player to coach and has turned out to be an even better one to play alongside and watch as a senior.
“She has a great knowledge of the game and is just a really valuable club person,” she said.
Cross’ teammate Jemma Clarkson will play her 150th club game on Saturday too.
