The last time the Warriors faced the ladder leaders they conceded more than 80 goals and went down by a margin of 60, but Saturday’s game was much less one-sided.
Warrack Eagles won all four quarters but Stawell managed to limit the damage compared to the previous match, with the final score reading 68-24 in Warrack Eagles’ favour.
Tarnee Orr was influential in the mid-court for Stawell while Jemma Clarkson led the way in attack again, with 13 goals.
Stawell sits in seventh, equal on points with the Giants and Nhill.
