Joiner took on Justin Tafa at XFC 36, looking to defend his XFC heavyweight title he won back in May last year.
He was unable to match Tafa in the octagon as his opponent signalled his intent from the outset of the fight, coming at Joiner with ferocity in the opening seconds.
Joiner lost the bout by technical knockout in the first round in less than 30 seconds.
‘The Answer’ now has a professional fighting record of five wins and three losses. All three of his losses have come consecutively.
