NSW had the series wrapped up by the time it came to Suncorp Stadium and a number of their leading lights looked a good bet to be given the honour of the best player over three games despite Queensland’s win in game three.
“James Maloney, Boyd Cordner and James Tedesco come to mind. So do Damien Cook,” Boulous said.
“Slater wasn’t even the best on ground for Queensland. I thought Daly Cherry-Evans was their best.”
Lawrence said the decision was “disgraceful”.
In this week’s episode the boys look ahead to round 18 of the NRL with the Sharks, Storm and Rabbitohs the most fancied.
