Currently holding on to a finals berth, Swifts will look to carry their momentum into the back half of the season.
WHERE THEY STAND
Fifth place with four wins, three losses and a bye. Level on points with fourth place.
MOMENT TO REMEMBER
Without a doubt the highlight of the first half of the 2018 season for Swifts’ A Grade side was their thrilling one-goal win over Harrow-Balmoral.
Playing away from home and coming off a heartbreaking one-goal loss the week before, Swifts dug deep to clinch a memorable victory.
WOULD RATHER FORGET
There haven’t been too many miserable moments for the Baggies so far this season, but a 34-8 goal second half against Natimuk United is a patch they would probably want to move on from quickly.
Ewes shooter Shannon Couch put on a masterclass, scoring 42 goals.
IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME
Dropping a four-goal half-time lead at home to Edenhope-Apsley to go on to lose by one-goal is a result the Baggies will hope does not come back to haunt them later in the year.
A third term slip up cost them dearly.
LOOK INTO THE CRYSTAL BALL
The Baggies have a great chance to do something that they have not done in a long, long time and qualify for A Grade finals.
They are sitting pretty at the moment and will need to put together a few more wins to book a spot in September.
