The Baggies were chasing from early on, with Kalkee holding a slender three-goal lead at the first break.
A shooting masterclass from Kalkee saw the home-side miss just two of 18 shots to start the game.
The Kees shot 21 goals to 12 in the final term to run away with a 64-44 win at home. Swifts A Grade coach Courtney Morrow said Kalkee was able to run the game out better than her side.
“They were just a bit fitter than what we were,” she said.
“Their goalies were on fire as well which made it hard to limit their scoring.”
All shooters for both teams had a day out, with an average shooting percentage 73.5 per cent for the day.
Morrow said her side was unable to play their game style which let Kalkee get away from them.
“They moved the ball quickly and freely which is not what we wanted. We needed to control the tempo of the match a bit more,” she said.
“We will work on slowing things down and making our passes count when we have the ball.”
Tara Long was impressive in her new position of wing defence while Julz Coates continued her good form in the defensive goal circle.
“Tara has picked up the new position really well. She had a ripper game on Saturday,” Morrow said.
