It is the third straight season that Grampians Giants and Ararat Eagles footballer Taylor has been selected in the squad while Harris played for the first time at the 2017 carnival.
Harris impressed enough at the carnival on the Gold Coast to be selected in the All-Australian squad.
Taylor had been previously named as an emergency for the All-Australian squad based on his performance at the 2016 carnival.
Harris plays for the Nhill Tigers in the Wimmera league as well as the Wimmera Whippets.
He took part in the under-17 Wimmera league exhibition game prior to the interleague match at Horsham City Oval at the weekend.
Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly access for all abilities program manager Nic Baird said it is great to see players from the region continue to be recognised.
“It is a great reward for all the effort they put in,” he said.
“Playing with their respective FIDA clubs as well as mainstream clubs has helped them develop and continue to learn.”
All states and territories will be represented at the carnival when it is played in Launceston from June 18-23.
Baird said the carnival is a testament to the growth all abilities football has made throughout the country.
“For the AFL to have a comp like this means that disabled players are not forgotten about,” he said. “For them to have the same opportunity to represent their state as everyone else is just fantastic. In the Wimmera, a lot of it comes down to the hard work many people did to get a FIDA western conference up and going.”
Steve Reeves will coach the Vic Country all abilities team for the first time at the carnival. Reeves has previous experience leading Kyabram District Football League interleague team and will take over from Matt Deegan.
