The Magpies continued their strong start to the 2018 Stawell 13 and Under Football Association season, claiming their third win from three games.
They claimed a 98-point win over the Hawks who competed strongly despite not hitting the scoreboard.
The Magpies dominated all night to win 15.8 (98) to 0.0 (0).
Hamish Smith and Cameron Wickham both booted five goals for the Magpies. Oliver Notting was best on ground for the Hawks.
The Tigers bounced back from a loss last Friday to defeat the Bulldogs by 42 points in the second match of the third round.
Scoreless for the first three quarters, Max McMahon kicked the Bulldogs’ only score for the match in the final term.
Brady Turner and McMahon were best on ground for the Tigers and Bulldogs respectively.
The Bulldogs and Magpies will meet in the first game of round four while the Tigers and Hawks will meet in the later game.
