Swifts held off a fast finishing Rupanyup side on the Panthers’ home court to achieve the long-awaited feat.
The Baggies opened the game strongly, scoring 16 goals to 10 to take a commanding early lead.
The next two quarters highlighted Swifts’ growth from the last 12 months, extending the lead to 16 goals by three-quarter-time.
The Panthers were able to claw back into the game – keeping the Baggies to just seven final quarter goals – but the deficit was too large.
Swifts came out on top by eight goals.
Swifts’ A Grade coach Courtney Morrow said it was a “hard fought win”.
“It was quite a tough game against a team who is really strong,” she said.
“Playing inside the shed at Rupanyup was quite difficult in the heat.
“Not much air was flowing through making it difficult to run out the match.
“The girls stuck to it and we will take a lot of confidence away from the match.”
Morrow was once again influential in the mid-court for the Baggies, while Jade Ralph continued her strong form in the attacking goal circle, shooting 21 goals.

Morrow said things are “looking up” for her side after years of struggling.
“We have put in a lot of work so it is great to see things going our way,” she said.
“Having two wins in a row is a massive boost not just for our team but our whole netball program too.”
It was a mixed day on the court for the Baggies, with the other results being shared between the two clubs.
Swifts ended up coming away with wins in C Reserve 17 and under and 13 and under.
